Społeczność do wrzucania bieżących wiadomości: /wiadomosci
Skorzystałem z możliwości stworzenia 2 społeczności i utworzyłem też społeczność /wiadomości. Myślę że można spróbować wrzucać tam typowo linki z bieżącymi newsami / screenshoty z X itd. Osobne forum do newsów których może być spora ilość może być pomocne. Bieżące wiadomości to j
[Idea] It looks like many Groundbreakers are disappointed in how the launch was conducted. What about all early Digg adopters unite and help boosting each other's second-tier-handle communities by joining them?
I'm sure there won't that many. Some groundbreakers were lucky and got what they wanted. For those who were late to the party, I could do some spreadsheet. If you write a comment with your current second-tier-handle-late-to-the-party community name, I could add it with your usern
I thought groundbreakers had their own community created by digg admins?
Didn't they?
Jakie oczekiwania macie wobec Digga?
Jak Digg powinien się wyróżnić na tle innych platform takich jak reddit, X, bluesky, nasz rodzimy wykop itd?
That Groundbreaker who was here since May 2025 waiting for community creation tool after waking up to the news that some newely registered user just created community with the name he wanted
Just trying to connect with fellow millenials who watched all these bangers in cinema on opening weekends. Remember these nights?
In recent years we had quite a few "black swan" events which disrupted our world in big way. Covid, Russian invasion of Ukraine, Israel-Gaza war, AI usage skyrocketing in just 2 years out of nowhere. What big event are you betting on that is going to disrupt the world next?

Which decade had the best movies and shows? 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 2010 or 2020s? Sort by best if you want!

The world is becoming less and less "human" each year. Everything we see, every interaction is optimized and A/B tested with algorithms and AI. There is less and less human element and roughness to everything. Is it possible to reclaim that "human feeling" going forward? How?
How do we as humanity stay human? How can we do that and still progress as civilization? Is it possible nowadays?
What is the future of the internet when "Is this real or not?" is becoming the most common question being asked?

Remember Deepseek? Not even a year ago. Everybody said it was supposed to be a "game changer", because it was "same or even better than GPT but free and open source".
Plus plenty of talk about Nvidia chips, discussions about whether China had the best chips or not. Plenty of super smart people claiming that it was revolution, using highly sophisticated technical arguments thanks to which everybody was convinced. That's what I remember. So

I think Reddit might have already lost with digg. Ultimately it might be up to who controls the fake and bot content better. But Reddit let a lot of them already in. The question is it possible for them to do a bot purge at this point?
So it's pretty obvious that human only platform is more attractive to openai and other companies training their llms. Otherwise it's snake eating it's own tail. Little value. For advertisers it doesn't really matter, they just want absolute values to be high, no matter if relativ
Will "prompt engineering" move us backwards? Is it just getting short term results at a price of long term disaster due to lack of understanding the principles and what's really going on?
What do you think?
Digg newcomers when they find out they can choose from most of the nicknames they like without need for adding numbers
I think using people's prompts to get ideas, see trends and generally things that people mindlessly share with chatgpt is a big part of current openAI valuation
Open AI might capitalize on those ideas later, when AI infrastructure will be finished. They will try to expand to other markets and become one of few all-industry megacorp like Amazon
Good times
Was 1990-early 2000 dot com era was the last era that produced so many new now trillion dollar companies? Where you could start in garage and become top 10? Cause small players won't capitalize on ai.
Only those who own the data and have resources to process them can capitalize on ai revolution. So only big guys. And that's exactly what we see. This "revolution" doesn't disrupt markets in the sense that it doesn't shuffle players like many others did in the past. It surely hel
Why should I ask here if I can just ask chatgpt and it might give me a better answer?
AI chats make make communities where we ask questions a bit obsolete. Although obviously the real community will give answers with real life experience which in some cases might be superior, the need for such communities has been reduced, at least a little bit.
