Today's the big day (9/12) for Apple nerds. We're all but guaranteed a bunch of new stuff, and even if it sucks, we'll all have something exciting to complain about.
Last week, we made clear exactly what to expect during Apple's big September event. The next iPhones, Apple Watches and AirPods are all presumed to be coming with a heavy focus on the switch to USB-C. Lightning is pretty much dead going forward, and we have the EU to thank.
We got our first look at Apple's mixed reality Vision Pro headset back in June, but we don't expect it to feature meaningfully today. It might get name-checked, but we'll likely have to wait a few more months for another major update. It's not expected to hit shelves until early 2024.
