4. 'Dune: Part Two' set photo

The Meme

If you've seen "Dune: Part Two" then you're aware of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, and his nephews Feyd-Rautha and Beast Rabban. The three are pale, bald bad guys, played wonderfully by Stellan Skarsgard, Austin Butler and Dave Bautista, respectively. This fun on-set photo of the trio posing in their outfits became a meme out of nowhere, because it is objectively hilarious and super wholesome. The creativity behind some of these jokes is also quite impressive; clever stuff, "Dune" fans of the world.

3. Grimes at Coachella

The Meme

Grimes had a complete meltdown while trying and failing to play music during her Coachella set. Not only did she walk off early, abruptly ending the performance, but she ended up having to make a public apology for what a disaster it was. Issues arise during live performances even for the best of the best, but professionals know how to handle it gracefully. Grimes does not, and that's extremely funny.

2. Tiger Woods and a tree

The Meme

Months ago, Tiger Woods's "big dog" moment was thoroughly memed — and now, another Woods template has emerged. While at the Masters, Woods was photographed shaking hands with, wait for it, a tree. Just kidding: the hand belongs to Verne Lundquist, a veteran CBS announcer who is set to retire from further Masters assignments.

It was one of those photographs that captured the wonderful bizarreness of the golf course, and for netizens, it was yet another opportunity to bust out some Tiger Woods jokes.

1. OJ Simpson

The Meme

OJ Simpson, the ex-NFL player better known for being accused of killing his ex-wife, died last week aged 76.

Sure, Simpson was acquitted of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman's murders in 1995, but he was found civilly liable for both deaths just two years later — so people didn't feel the need to hold back on the jokes.
