If you remember Bernie Sanders's 2016 campaign platform, or Elizabeth Warren's warpath in 2020, or the "Occupy Wall Street" movement from 2008, then you're painfully aware of the galactic-sized gap between CEO pay and average worker pay in America. The average US salary is $56,000 a year. This CEO list starts at $99 million a year. The following information comes from CNBC data and from Wall Street Journal reporting. It includes salaries, bonuses, perks and stock options.
