There might not be a Pulitzer Prize for best Tweet thread yet, but there might be reason for one now because of this extraordinary pep talk/warning about dating by Twitter user @solomonmissouri.

Following the news that Dell Curry and Sonya Curry, parents to basketball star Stephen Curry, were getting divorced after 33 years of marriage, @solomonmissouri wrote a simultaneously poignant, hilarious and surreal stream of consciousness thread about the difficulty of being out in the dating circuit and encouraged Dell Curry to reconsider his divorce.

The praise for the thread was universal and came from a diverse group of Twitter users, from Katy Perry to Amber Ruffin.
