While Taylor Swift started her career as a teenager with a wholesome country music vibe in the mid-2000s, her tone has shifted massively over the past two decades. She's in her mid-30s now, and her music and songwriting reflect that.
Redditor u/stephsmithio charted every swearword that was featured in each Swift album, and they found that "The Tortured Poets Department" easily blows past every other record.
In particular, the word "f—k" is used on her latest album almost as many times as the total number of all swears in her previous album "Midnights."
She reduced the use of "sh—t," "damn," "goddamn" and "dickhead" this time around, but she introduced a brand new swear she's never recorded before: "whore." We can't wait to see what fun new expletives she has in store for us next time.
