Colton Herta reportedly one point from an F1 super license after COTA practice

Motorsport says Cadillac team principal Marcin Budkowski put Colton Herta one point away from an F1 super license after Herta completed the first practice session at COTA. Before the session, RACER reported that Herta was looking forward to driving at the track where he earned his first IndyCar win at age 18. He had previously driven for Cadillac in Barcelona, Budapest and Monza.
