Every day, somebody says or does something that earns them the scorn of the internet. Here at Digg, as part of our mission to curate what the internet is talking about right now, we rounded up the main characters on Twitter from this past week and held them accountable for their actions.

This week, we have a Trump and pizza fan, a perennial right-wing grifter and an NBA team who should've thought twice before posting a graphic on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Monday

Toronto Raptors X account

The character: The person(s) who runs the Toronto Raptors X account

The plot: The only team in the NBA who isn't from America, and is in fact Canadian, are the Toronto Raptors. They were one of several companies and teams who sent out posts for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the American holiday, on January 15, where we celebrate the civil rights leader and his work. The post would later be taken down. Wonder why?

The repercussion: "It's just so cool when social media accounts use the four photos to combine them into one bigger photo!" the poor Raptors social media manager probably thought when planning this MLK tribute. What they didn't consider was that it'd look like there is the crosshair of a rifle aiming directly at Dr. King's face.

The quote, too, was just a weird choice. Like, is that a nod to the Raptors not being very good this year? The whole thing rings hollow and off, so people were rightfully confused and disappointed in this shallow attempt at acknowledging the holiday. Thank you, Canada.

Monday

Ian Miles Cheong

The character: Ian Miles Cheong, regular right-wing bad take haver, soda newbie

The plot: Cheong is well known for being a pot-stirrer and far-right jerk, but this recent controversy on X doesn't have anything to do with being buddy-buddy with the most loathsome people on earth. Instead, he is simply baffled that soda fountains dispense syrup and carbonated water instead of a pre-mixed concoction. Honestly, it'd be almost cute if it wasn't coming from the Notorious I.M.C.

The repercussion: All told, folks are more amused by his surprise than they are hostile. Inquiring minds want to know how he'd previously assumed everything worked logistically. What else doesn't he understand?

Sunday

Johnny MAGA

The character: Johnny MAGA, Trump fan, arbiter of strength

The plot: Cringey posts are to be expected from someone with the username "Johnny Maga," but this one really knocks it out of the park. On Sunday, Johnny Maga shared a video of Donald Trump carrying some pizza boxes, along with the caption, "Trump is carrying around 8 pizzas like it's nothing. Biden would face plant with more than 2."

The repercussion: There is perhaps no better example of Trump's pathetically fawning fanbase than this; someone praising his ability to carry several pizza boxes as if that's some kind of heroic feat, rather than something the average person can do without trouble. There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said by people responding on X.

Carbonating sugary and complex liquids can be explosive and very messy, which is why it is done the way it is. And, as alluded to in the featured visual post, a large container of "lollie water" is never going to work. Poor boy never got to muck around with a sodastream when yer mates mum wasn't around.

Knowing trump, the boxes are probably empty.

Knowing trump, he ate the pizzas and only left the crusts
