It's raining here in New York City, and while some people are inside of a tall building not thinking about it too much, certain areas — especially busy streets and the subway stations — have experienced flash flooding. The heavy rainfall this weekend is leading to countless delays and limited service along multiple train lines and various places in Manhattan.

Major disruptions at both LGA and JFK airports is also expected. The National Weather Service says 8.5 million people in New York and New Jersey have been warned of flooding and potentially 25 million in the tri-state area could also be affected.

Footage on social media shows water everywhere, and it'd be quite the sight to behold if it wasn't extremely concerning and potentially life-threatening.
