The Internet Is Thrilled That Kyrsten Sinema Isn't Running For Senate Reelection
After Sinema left the Democratic party in 2022 following a grassroots campaign to unseat her, there has been well over a year of speculation about whether or not she'd run as a third-party candidate for US Senate in 2024. Finally, her last grasp at relevancy failed last month as the GOP sabotaged the bipartisan border legislation.
Now, she's finally made it official: She won't be running for re-election in November — it's now likely a two-person race between Democrat Ruben Gallego and Republican Kari Lake.

It should not surprise you to learn that the internet immediately began celebrating, dunking and bringing up her worst moments as an elected official.
The internet is not fond of Sen. Sinema
Let’s remember the most damning moment in her short Senate career when she helped kill the $15 federal minimum wage: pic.twitter.com/0LxSl1NeIy

Do you need help clearing out your office or should I put it in the trash with the rest of your time in office?
