Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated "Killers of the Flower Moon" debuted in theaters this weekend. We rounded up critics' first impressions here, but the average movie-goer's opinion is, if not more important, far more entertaining.

Over on X, viewers reflected on the film's depiction of the exploitation and murder of Osage Nation members by white people, and praised the performances of its stars — but there was still plenty of room for jokes and memes, too.

KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON (2023): I know Scorsese is no stranger to using anachronistic music (eg. Gabriel on Last Temptation), and I mostly appreciate that he's still trying new things at this age, but I still thought it was strange to use almost wall-to-wall Taylor Swift here
