To find out the most and least popular billionaires by country, BusinessFinancing analyzed thousands of geotagged tweets mentioning billionaire entrepreneurs, and used an AI 'sentiment detector' to work whether the figure was being praised or slated.

Key findings:

Donald Trump is the least popular billionaire overall, ranking the most hated in 84 countries.

Bill Gates is the most loved billionaire in the highest number of countries (37), but he is the most hated in Cuba, Algeria and Libya.

Elon Musk is America's most loved billionaire, receiving the highest amount of praise on Twitter in 12 states.
