NetCredit used Uber's calculator to price a 6.2-mile (10 km) trip in every world capital where Uber is available. They also added in the US and the UK's 30 biggest cities. They further divided rides into distinct times — rush hour, workdays and weekends. Here's what they found.

Key Takeaways:

  • Bern, Switzerland, has the costliest UberXes on the planet. It costs $42.80 to ride 6.2 miles, whereas in Islamabad, Pakistan, an UberMini costs just $1.39 for the same distance.

Uber doesn’t think about driver. They are caring passengers not driver. Uber deactivated driver account without talking both parties such as passengers & driver. It is very sad for driver.

    I drive for Uber.
Uber pays 100% tuition coverage at Arizona State. Instead of trying to make this a career, take the hint, get an education, then get on with your life!! If you're not trying to get a bachelor degree or better, you will continue to struggle until you die. The economy has spoken, listen, take action.

We don't have a government that works for the people here in the USA. They work for big businesses like Uber, so they do that great. We can't leave it up to a useless political system to protect us, they won't. We need to gather and go on strike to force Uber and our governments to do something. They cheer Uber on because Uber is close to becoming profitable for more than 2 fiscal quarters.

Uber only pays .30 a mile in Raleigh area. And government allows I think it just went up to around. 61 a mile for tax purposes. So uber is not worth a crap in our area. Because so many kids around here have mommy a d daddysgas card and all they want is some extra money for weed so they will drive for peanuts

You should check the prices for The Hamptons. It beats out NYC by quite a bit.

Uber treat People who Drive Uber Driver in Philadelphia PA like Slave. Uber take almost 50% off of Driver Money One of the worst Company to work for in PA.

Awesome that you can get a driver to pick you up to form an opinion on cost. In Australia experience shows you have 3 or 4 cancelled rides, some as close as 100 metres from the pick up point, before you fluke an actual driver. Pushing us back to taxis or other shared ride options.

Do you know one of the problems is drivers do not see the profit Uber keeps almost half of the earnings. The federal government allows us $.58 in taxes but Uber pays $.64 per mile do the math. Drivers are responsible for wear and tear on their vehicles maintenance gas insurance full coverage over really doesn’t bear the brunt of anything other than collecting money in the Uber CEO living in a mansion collecting $24 million in owning 10% of the stock and Uber Uber is a joke for drivers. If you want to be a slave drive for Uber.

Yes you are so right and no one is doing anything about it.

Right. Uber and Lyft are a joke. They are taking over 50 percent and are taking advantage of passengers and drivers. They also cancel rides midway and not pay drivers. Fake bonuses on maps and other deceiving tricks they deploy. They throw out a lot of fake press as well. They don't care about safety, you never know who the next passenger really is.

      Stop supporting scum companies. 🤮
