Web hosting company Hostinger looked at the world's most visited websites, excluding prominent and obvious sites like Facebook, YouTube, Google and other search engines. They also didn't track adult entertainment, betting sites or websites that provide streaming or downloading services.

They looked at how different parts of the world prioritize their internet consumption, from reading to shopping and more, and also factored in how certain geo-restrictions affect people's habits.
