Watching People Use The Apple Vision Pro In Public Is A Comedic Train Wreck
The next frontier of technology isn't AI, nor is it mixed reality headsets. It's still making memes on the internet — which is the main takeaway from this past weekend, as the Apple Vision Pro was finally made available to the public. And now, the videos of people using them are unintentionally hilarious, if not downright scary and depressing. Are they just viral marketing? The FTC needs to weigh in on that.
The reviews are flying in — not just from its users, but from people who are witnessing all the Vision Pro users in the wild. It's mostly footage of people moving their hands in front of their faces and wearing the headset while driving or crossing the street. And it all just seems so... bizarre. If there are enough insults and bullying, will Apple reassess their plans for the Vision Pro? Who knows. Maybe if there are enough dorky-looking people using them, it'll convince everyone on the fence to not purchase one, thereby cutting this chapter in our society short.
Below, you'll find some of the most ridiculous examples of Vision Pro users causing us extreme second-hand embarrassment.
Everything I see about Vision Pro leads me to believe its ideal user struggles with object permanence https://t.co/i9zlL1Zaim
