Weapon and stratagem changes

Arrowhead says its Killzone and Halo Legendary warbond weapons cannot be customized, so some receive higher base stats as compensation. The patch notes raise the M90A Shotgun's damage from 605 to 726 and the StA-11 SMG's from 90 to 100. They also increase the MA5C Assault Rifle's durable damage from 16 to 20 and the StA-52 Assault Rifle's maximum spare magazines from six to seven.

For both the LAS-16 Sickle and LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle, the notes list a shorter trigger-to-fire delay, down from 0.5 to 0.33 seconds. Heat starts cooling 0.66 seconds after firing instead of 1.33 seconds. The LAS-16 also gets less heat buildup per projectile, down from 1.15 to 0.95.

Among the stratagem changes, the delay before movement control returns after firing the M-1000 Maxigun drops from 0.5 seconds to zero. The CQC-20 Breaching Hammer gets 10 spare charges instead of seven. The Orbital Airburst Strike's cooldown drops from 100 to 90, and its explosion cone angle narrows from 35 to 27 degrees. Arrowhead expects the narrower cone to concentrate its shrapnel.

A controlled bug strain and fixes

The strain that spawns Bile Warriors, Spewers and Scavengers could previously become active randomly during a mission. Arrowhead says it is now a separate strain controlled by Game Masters, with a visual indicator when it is active.

The notes also list crash fixes involving vehicle customization, SEAF shuttles and upscalers, plus improved DirectX 12 stability. Arrowhead says multithreaded CPU optimizations are intended to smooth frame pacing and improve frame times, particularly on lower core-count CPUs and Xbox Series S.
