Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 announced as available on Switch 2

NintendoEurope and NintendoAmerica announced on Oct. 23, 2026, that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 was available on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo of Europe’s game listing calls Oct. 23 the full-game launch date.

NintendoAmerica described a globe-spanning campaign, multiplayer across 12 new Core 6v6 maps and DMZ, an extraction mode set in Hajin. The European listing describes a campaign spanning Korea, New York, Paris and Mumbai, and says DMZ players choose which objectives to pursue and when to extract.

The listing says the game is available on Switch 2, not the original Switch. It also says online multiplayer requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription sold separately, and that play requires a persistent internet connection and an Activision account.
