A24’s 'You Can See Everything' grossed an estimated $15 million domestically over its opening weekend from 855 locations

IndieWire reports that the Thursday haul came from 855 screens. The film, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, examines Elizabeth Holmes and the Theranos scandal.

The nearly three-hour running time makes the turnout stand out even more. Exhibitor Relations described the result as “massive” for a documentary of that length, while BoxOfficeReport.com’s estimate landed slightly higher than ERC’s rounded figure.

The weekend test

IndieWire said the film was heading toward a projected $7 million to $8 million opening weekend. That would be a sizable debut for a nonmusic documentary, but it remains a forecast rather than a final result.

The release also faces Paramount’s “Street Fighter,” which opened the same weekend. The full-weekend figures will determine whether A24 reaches the projected range.
