Halloween is just around the corner, and that means two things: costumes and candy. But which candies are most popular with trick-or-treaters at this time of year?

TOP Agency analyzed data on America's favorite candy brands to find out which are the most-loved Halloween candies in each US state.

The winner overall is Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, which is the most popular Halloween candy in 17 states. In second place is KitKat, the favorite for 10 states.

The least popular of them all is Hot Tamales, which is the top choice in just two states.

Here in Michigan it says Starburst that's a total lie, we live on Chocolate it's a mainstay here.. Starbursts are good but I've never seen anyone walking around with them sticking out of their back pocket..

Actually it looks like Butterfinger is the least popular, winning only 1 state.

I demand a recount, by population. The Reese's states are mostly empty (apologies to Penn and NJ). Meanwhile, Kit Kat captured Va, NY, and CA. Likely winner in the popular vote. F the electoral college.
