All of us have, at some point, been late to a TV show that everyone else is raving about, and had to tear through episodes to catch up — but before you settle down for your next binge session, you might want to check how many hours of your life it'll actually cost you.

Over on Reddit, u/thomasbarlow14 used The Movie Database and Episode Hive to find the total runtimes of popular TV shows, and visualized how long it would take to binge-watch each of them in the chart below.

Of the shows selected, iconic sitcom "Friends" has by far the longest runtime (90 hours, 53 minutes), followed by thriller-drama Dexter (85 hours, six minutes).

It would also take you 74 hours and 28 minutes to binge your way through every episode of "The Office," while "Game of Thrones" would cost you more than 70 precious hours.
