Using data from the Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics, Reddit user academiaadvice visualized which college fields of study are growing and shrinking the fastest across the US.
The graph excludes subjects with fewer than 5,000 degrees awarded, and only includes degrees from Title IV colleges.

The fastest growing subject of the study is computer science, with the number of bachelor's degrees in this field increasing by around 144 percent between 2010-11 to 2020-21.
History saw the largest decrease in degrees awarded, with the number falling by around 23,000 or 35 percent in the same time period.
