Based on an OECD report of National Time Use Surveys data, Redditor u/sho-ma ranked the average amount of time people in 29 countries spent eating per day.
On average, it looks like men and women spend 90 minutes per day eating and drinking. In 14 nations men had a higher average time, women led in 13 nations and in two nations it was equally split.
France, Greece and Italy were countries were individuals had the highest per day averages, with people spending more than two hours of their day eating and drinking. On the other end of the list, North American nations America, Canada and Mexico had the lowest per day averages.
