IT'S A SNOGGY-SNOGG WORLD
A Reporter Thought Snoop Dogg Was At An NFT Conference, But It Turned Out To Be... Doop Snogg?
Kevin Collier, a reporter for NBC News, tweeted yesterday that he was at an NFT conference in New York City when he saw Snoop Dogg walk by with his security detail. Or, rather: he thought he saw Snoop Dogg walk by.
I'm at the NFT NYC conference again in Times Square, and Snoop walked by, flanked by security. I grabbed his handler, said I'm a reporter, would love a few minutes. The guy said actually that's an impersonator, legally can't say it's him, they hired him to drum up excitement.

As it turns out, the person he saw was going by the name "Doop Snogg," because, as Collier said, they couldn't legally call him Snoop Dogg.
Yep this was the guyhttps://t.co/srDA7JZU8j

Snoop Dogg took to Twitter himself to confirm that... Doop Snogg exists, I guess?

So, they don't get the real Snoop, they get a reference token that indicates he's theirs while existing somewhere else entirely... https://t.co/smejAywSbp

So, it was nothing, hyped up to seem like something, in an attempt to perpetrate a fraud on an unsuspecting and less-knowledgeable populace. Huh. https://t.co/cRyOUdDqVt
