I play bass in a couple bands, one is an AC/DC tribute. I took a Sterling Ray4 and made it look, play, and sound like a Music Man Stingray from the 70s. Was going for something like Cliff Williams’ bass.

Sanded down all the frets, got them all leveled and recrowned. Swapped out the pickup and preamp, built a new bridge out of parts from four bridges. Replaced the tuning machines, and since I had it all taken apart, I replace the logos on the headstock. It a total Frankenstein bas
