On Tuesday, spectators leaving the Washington Nationals game spotted a team of tractor trailers wheeling in the tanks that will be featured in Donald Trump's "Salute to America" Fourth of July event.

local media reported.

This footage shows two armored vehicles being transported near Nationals Park. M1A1 Abrams tanks were also seen on freight trains en route to Washington, reports said.

According to military officials, the tanks and other armored vehicles will be a "static display" — flanked by fireworks and a speech from Trump — and won't actually be part of the parade, as local officials were worried about the damage they would do to infrastructure.

"You've got to be pretty careful with the tanks because the roads have a tendency not to like to carry heavy tanks, so we have to put them in certain areas," Trump said, according to Reuters.
