Come March, all you want to think about is the weather getting warmer — and it will soon enough. But before you're sipping frappuccinos poolside this summer, here's something to stock up on for next winter. It's a heated base layer shirt from DURAN that uses carbon nano heating elements woven into the fiber of the shirt. Five areas in the shirt, at the chest back and wrists, go from frigid to 85°F in a minute flat (with a top end temp of 115°F). A push button control at the chest adjusts the levels and zones while three rechargeable batteries ride in pockets at either side of the shirt. The DURAN will continue toasting you from the outside in for seven hours on low and two and a half hours on high.

And no, you're not buying something that can only be spot-cleaned with vinegar. The shirts are machine washable (remove the batteries first) and are antibacterial-treated to keep you less funkified. Currently blasting past its Kickstarter funding goal (by more than $25k), the shirt ships this May. Secure yourself one now and do less shivering come next winter.
