For Pride Month, Spotify has collaborated with GLAAD and Greater Than AIDS to make a new set of multimedia playlists that combine celebrity-narrated videos with historical music selections to recount pivotal moments in LGBT history.

In the first playlist, called "Around 2 am," Miley Cyrus narrates a set of videos about the Stonewall riots. Cyrus reads a script over stylized animations that tell the story of the most crucial uprising in LGBT history.

In-between the educational animations, Spotify has chosen songs meant to bring you back to the historical moment. In the case of "Around 2 am," songs from 1969, the year of the riot, frame the story. The effect is a deeper immersion into LGBT stories that defined a worldwide movement, but still remain in educational obscurity.

Other playlists in the five-part series include narrations by artists like Troye Sivan and Halsey on the fight for marriage equality and the battle against HIV/AIDS stigma.

Spotify only recently began integrating videos into its curated playlists. Its first foray into mixing up one of its primary products was when it added videos to its popular "RapCaviar" playlist in March.
