BARACK-ING THE VOTE
ยทUpdated:
·

With less than two weeks until the presidential election (Hallelujah!), campaigning has shifted into overdrive, with candidates and surrogates on both tickets trying to make as many appearances as possible โ€” President Obama included. He sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night for a lengthy interview to discuss Hillary's trustworthiness, how Snapchat works and what it would take for Michelle to divorce him. Oh, and also, he wants you to vote.

When asked if he ever has a desire to go and run against Trump himself, Obama said no, he is happy to campaign for Hillary but does feel a sense of urgency as Trump threatens "the general course of this country."

Does Obama sometimes just sit at his TV and laugh when Trump speaks? Turns out, that, yes, he does "most of the time."

The president and Kimmel also chatted about the Billy Bush bus tape and all of Obama's "dirtbag friends" he hasn't been able to talk to in eight years.

Obama needs a lot of help from his teen daughters when it comes to social media, especially with a phone that can only send e-mails. The problem: They are often too busy laughing at his ineptitude to give him a shot.

If there weren't legal restraints in place, would Obama run for president again? No, because Michelle would never speak to him again.

Obama believes that Clinton's thirty years "in the trenches" have given opposition enough time to force a false narrative of untrustworthiness on her. "She's smart as a whip. She does her homework… She's not someone who thinks the job is about flash and sizzle."

Obama has already voted. He (and a whole bunch of famous celebrities) want you to vote, too.

Does Obama ever get woken up in the middle of the night to help solve a major crisis? He does, but it's less dramatic than popular imagination would have you believe.

Obama is a big sports fan, but is he excited that the Cubs are going to the world series? Uh, yeah, sure. Why not.

Obama, the "Sharknado of presidents," wrapped up the evening reading mean tweets about himself.
