PROBABLY A WARM, SWAMPY MESS

If you live in the northern hemisphere, chances are that your winter weather has been a little bit funky. Scientists blame an "exceptionally strong occurrence of El Niño" along with a polar vortex for the acute spat of winter warmness. But this weird winter weather also fits into a general trend of higher temperatures that we can thank global warming for.

Awhile back Climate Central published a cool interactive map that shows those in the US what their winters might look like in 2100 if the trend continues.
