'WHAT IS ALEPPO?'... 'YOU'RE KIDDING?'

​For several years, the Syrian city of Aleppo has been one of the the focal points of the country's brutal civil war and refugee crisis. So it would be reasonable to assume that a presidential candidate — especially one angling to be seen as the reasonable alternative to Trump and Clinton — would be well-versed on the Syrian crisis. 

But when Libertarian candidate and former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson was asked about Aleppo on Morning Joe on Thursday, he was left completely dumbfounded. It was an awkward moment:
