A $4,400-per-share base-case price target for Tesla in 2031

An Oct. 19 post from StockMKTNewz relayed what it described as Cathie Wood and ARK Invest’s 2031 base-case target for Tesla: $4,400 per share, or a $17.5 trillion market cap. The post attributes the forecast to ARK; it does not independently confirm the underlying research.

A separate post from Sawyer Merritt quoted text attributed to ARK saying Tesla had added the Cybercab to its robotaxi fleet. The quote says ARK’s research suggests Tesla’s operational costs per mile will be roughly 40% lower than those of Waymo’s next-generation robotaxi at equal utilization rates. That is a conditional projection, not an observed cost comparison. The post does not independently confirm the fleet addition.
