Presja USA na Iran rośnie. Powołując się na źródła w wojsku, Fox News podała, że w region Bliskiego Wschodu zmierza „co najmniej jeden” amerykański lotniskowiec.

At least one US aircraft carrier, along with a strike group of ships, is heading towards the Middle East, according to Fox News. This move is intended to increase the range of potential attacks on Iran. The article explains that it is unclear whether it is the USS Abraham Lincoln currently stationed in the South China Sea or two other carriers that have recently departed from bases in Norfolk and San Diego. The journey is expected to take about a week. In the coming days and weeks, additional US air, sea, and land units are expected to be deployed to the Middle East, enabling President Donald Trump to decide on potential attacks on Iran. Previously, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump's hesitation to decide on an attack was due to uncertainty that such strikes would lead to the fall of the regime in Tehran. One of the reasons was the thinness of the forces present in the Middle East. A significant part was moved last year from the Mediterranean and the Middle East to the Caribbean Sea region to blockade Venezuela. The newspaper reported that Trump has not made a final decision on the attack and instead asked for military resources to be made available in case he decides to carry out a major operation. On Thursday, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt announced that 'all options are on the table' and that the Iranian regime will pay a heavy price if it 'continues to kill demonstrators.' She also noted that, as a result of US pressure, Iranian authorities canceled the planned executions of 800 demonstrators.
