US 30-year Treasury yield reportedly hits 5.50%, highest in more than 20 years

A September 25 post put the US 10-year Treasury yield at 5.22%, up 10 basis points. ZeroHedge reported Japan’s 40-year government bond yield rose six basis points to 4.27%.
