A claimed gap between crude and refined fuel shipments through Hormuz

A September 30 post says crude flows through the Strait of Hormuz are back at prewar levels, while refined fuel shipments are down to 677,000 barrels a day from 3.6 million before the war. Another post says Iran raised alerts at 46 critical infrastructure facilities.

Saudi oil exports reportedly hit wartime high; estimates point to diesel losses in Middle East and Russia

The Kobeissi Letter, citing Vortexa, Kpler and Energy Aspects, puts the average estimated diesel supply loss from the Middle East and Russia at 1.1 million barrels a day in March–August 2026 compared with the same period in 2025.
