OpenAI launches GPT-6.1 Sol, promising near-Astra intelligence at one-fifth of Astra’s standard API input and output token prices

OpenAI says the model improves on GPT-6 Sol in coding, computer use and complex professional work, approaching GPT-6 Astra on several benchmarks. It lists cached input at $0.10 per million tokens.
