EU reportedly proposes under-13 social media ban and supervised accounts for ages 13–14

The European Commission’s reported “Kids Act” proposal would give 13–14-year-olds parent-supervised “mini accounts,” allowing about an hour a day and limited contacts. Platforms could face fines of up to 6% of global revenue.
