The Last Ronin novelization is coming in June 2026

Kinda lost in the Mattel announcement from Paramount yesterday was a novel of The Last Ronin, a YouTube show for kids, and a middle school-focused novel. Release date is June 2, 2026. We may have lost the movie but we're getting a book instead.

It’s official: MATTEL has the TMNT toy license

Turtles of Grayskull leading to Mattel having the worldwide license to make TMNT figures and taking it from Playmates for the first time in forty years. I’m personally excited for the change.

Yes indeed! I can’t find a specific attributed quote, but plenty of people have said they spoke to Jim Lawson about the Rat King and he said he and Ryan Brown based him on the traveling Leatherman
