Reels were ruining my attention span, so I built an app to surgically remove them from Instagram
For many years I have been slightly addicted to social media, and internet in general. Still, I never wanted to delete the apps as I use it to keep in touch with my friends.
For this reason, I created TimeCap. It's an app that removes the addictive sections of any social media (it supports Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, & Reddit) while keeping the non-algorithmic parts. It is fully customizable, and it genuinely brought my screen time to less than 1 hour.
It is free to use for one social media, and is $29.99/yr for support of unlimited platforms simultaneously. And if you need the premium version and cannot afford it, just send me a message and I'll sort you out.
Privacy: Everything that happens while you browse is fully private, the only data I receive is super basic analytics (such as your initial set-up, including how you heard of the app, and details for app crashes).

Would love your feedback :)
