YouTube is introducing a dislike-button menu for creators viewing their own videos

YouTube is introducing an interface that puts the dislike button behind the three-dot menu when creators view their own uploaded videos, spokesperson Kimberly Taylor told The Verge. Taylor said YouTube is not testing hiding the button for regular users.

The Verge's clarification followed an earlier report by Jay Peters that YouTube appeared to be testing a change to the dislike button. Peters said at least two X users had shared screenshots showing the button in the three-dot menu. Ben Schoon at 9to5Google said the outlet reproduced the placement on one of its own videos.
