Tibo Resets Usage Limits for ChatGPT Work and Codex
OpenAI Codex lead Tibo resets paid account limits to mark GPT-5.6 Sol release.
Tibo, engineering lead on OpenAI's Codex team, posted that he reset usage limits for all paid ChatGPT Work and Codex accounts. He tied the change to the availability of GPT-5.6 Sol, calling the model awesome and compatible with external tools such as the CC harness. A follow-up post from Vaibhav Srivastav echoed the announcement. The posts frame the reset as a one-time expansion for weekend use, with no further details on duration or future policy given in the visible messages.
That's right, GPT-5.6 Sol is awesome and can be used pretty much anywhere, including in the CC harness. To celebrate this, together with the fact that I'm not going anywhere... I have reset usage limits for all paid users of ChatGPT Work and Codex. Have fun out there!
@thsottiaux We are hiring if you would like to work at Anthropic! We don’t ban people for using harnesses with other models. Almost certainly it was a different account classifier that triggered. Looking into it, thanks for escalating.
