Canada's time-zone shift leaves some Outlook meetings needing a check
Existing Outlook entries don't automatically change zones, and only organizers can update meetings involving other people.
TLDR
Parts of British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba stopped seasonal clock changes Nov. 1, 2026. Existing Outlook entries don't automatically move to the new zones, so later meetings could be an hour off. Only organizers can update meetings with attendees, and changing the time zone of a recurring meeting resets previously moved occurrences. An Exchange Online tool for non-recurring meetings was reportedly planned for Nov. 4; a recurring-meeting remedy has no confirmed date.
