Eric Gullichsen reportedly says a 1993 Nvidia vesting error left him owed about $1 billion in stock

Tom’s Hardware reports that former Nvidia advisor Eric Gullichsen says a 1993 stock-option vesting error left him owed what he says would now amount to about $1 billion in Nvidia stock.

According to Tom’s Hardware, Gullichsen says the disputed 9,375 options would equal about 4.5 million shares after a combined 480x in Nvidia stock splits. Tom’s Hardware’s report presents that figure as part of his claim.
