Spotify reportedly rolling out QR-code verification for some Family plan members

Spotify is rolling out QR-code verification for some Family plan members, 9to5Google reports. Citing Spotify’s guidance, the outlet says prompted members must scan a code on the plan manager’s phone while together. They have seven days after notification. Those who miss the window or cannot complete verification cannot join another Family or Duo plan for 12 months, but can choose a different plan.
