Trump recounts Pichai pushback over an Atlantic Ocean rename for Google Maps

Trump recounted asking Google CEO Sundar Pichai whether Google Maps could handle a new name for the Atlantic Ocean, Engadget reports. Trump quoted Pichai objecting because oceans “cover a lot of countries.” Trump said he would “probably pass” on the Atlantic but floated “the American Ocean” for the Pacific. The exchange is Trump’s account; Engadget said it had contacted Google for comment.
