Trump reportedly asked Musk to lift restrictions on a military-grade version of Starlink in Ukraine

In a post Thursday, alexbward wrote that U.S. officials said Trump called Elon Musk and asked him to lift restrictions on a military-grade version of Starlink in Ukraine. The post also cited U.S. officials as saying Musk, SpaceX’s chief, had throttled that version of Starlink.

The same post said U.S. and Ukrainian officials described the system as working “more normally” that Thursday, shortly after the conversation. It did not say the restrictions had been fully lifted.
