Fake PS5 emulator listings on GitHub reportedly carry malware

NordVPN researchers found GitHub listings posing as the Kyttyps5 and AnyPS5 PS5 emulators, Engadget reports. The malware reportedly adds Microsoft Defender exclusions, launches a file NordVPN believes is an infostealer, then deletes its own files. Engadget advises checking that a download link belongs to the emulator’s project team and keeping antivirus protection enabled.
