HomePod 'Lock Controls' toggle reportedly coming with iOS 27.2

9to5Mac, citing leaker pdfu, reports that Lock Controls is expected with iOS 27.2 and HomePod 27.2 the week of October 26, 2026. The Home app setting would prevent most touches on top of a HomePod from playing audio or triggering actions. Intercom, timers, alarms, Check In and FaceTime calls would still respond to touch.
