Teenagers arrested after assault on South Street

Four teenagers, two aged 16 and two aged 17, have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in St Andrews. The incident occurred on 17 January, 2026, when a 30-year-old man, refused entry to a pub, assaulted a member of door staff. The 30-year-old was subsequently arrested but had allegedly been assaulted by a group of males prior to his arrest. The four males have been identified and charged and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
