What is "About the Song"?

This feature is a beta tool designed to deepen the connection between listeners and artists by providing the "story" behind specific tracks. It includes:

• Swipeable Story Cards:

Short, interactive cards that explain the inspiration, meaning, and behind-the-scenes moments of a song.

• Curated Context:

The information is summarized from third-party sources to give you a quick but meaningful look at the track's history.

• Interactive Feedback:

Listeners and artists can share feedback directly on the cards to help refine the experience during the beta phase.

How to Access It

The feature is currently rolling out to Premium users on mobile (iOS and Android) in select English-language markets (including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia).

While listening in the Spotify mobile app, open the Now Playing View.
Scroll down to find the About the Song card on supported tracks.
