    TLDR

NASCAR says teams at Phoenix can remove and replace front brake rotors and pads after Saturday practice, but make no other brake changes. It will also allow rear-rotor inspections Sunday morning, with any issues found then handled case by case.

Jeff Gluck@jeff_gluckNASCAR just announced it is updating the brake rule for Phoenix. Remember Gateway with all the brake issues there? NASCAR says at Phoenix this weekend, teams "will be given the option to remove and replace front brake rotors and pads only" after practice on Saturday. Those are the only changes that can be made to the brakes. NASCAR also says it will allow teams to inspect rear rotors on Sunday morning but that "any subsequent rotor issues found at that time will managed on a case-by-case basis."2h
Motorsport@MotorsportAfter several brake issues at Gateway, #NASCAR will allow teams to replace brake rotors and pads after Phoenix practice and qualifying. https://www.motorsport.com/nascar-cup/news/nascar-to-allow-brake-rotor-and-pad-changes-after-phoenix-qualifying-/10865245/1h
